I always enjoy shooting architectural jobs, my wife and I are planning to build and it’s great to get lots of new ideas. This house was a Fowler Home close to Arrowtown. The shoot is in the latest magazine and was shot a few weeks ago.
The WPPI is held in Las Vegas every year and is recognized as the number one competition for wedding photographers in the world and for commercial photographers alike. The prints need to be printed to the highest standard, mounted and shipped to Las Vegas for the judging.
The 2 prints were in the Advertising/ Fashion category for an image shot for a worldwide campaign commissioned by Interbrand. This image was also ranked in the top 15 of the best advertising/fashion images in the International Loupe Awards earlier this year.
My wedding image in the bride or groom alone category is shot here in Wanaka and is one of my favourites from last year.

Katie and Mark live in Hong Kong but are from NZ. Mark and the boys, who were all brothers were staying at the Hilton and the girls, all sisters were in Arrowtown. The rain was coming and going all day but stayed away for all the important moments:) The ceremony was at St Patricks Catholic Church and we did the location shots around the church and Lake Hayes before heading to the Winehouse and Kitchen for the reception.
Wendy and Alistair had a small and intimate Wedding in Queenstown. They had the ceremony in the romantic wine cave at Gibbston Valley Wines followed by the reception in the restaurant. We only did a short 20 min shoot around the winery so Wendy & Alistair could spend more time with the guests. The always brilliant Kiwi Haka group did a great performance during the reception.
