Helicopter Wedding in Queenstown

Jane & Stephen had a lovely intimate Queenstown Wedding at Stoneridge Estate in August. The Ceremony was held at the Chapel by the Lake by Wedding Celebrant Phillipa Cook. A bagpiper piped every one up to the reception venue where they were greeted with a traditional Scottish Haggis Ceremony. We did some quick photos around the grounds before heading over to Over the Top Helicopters for a flight up to the ledge. The wedding was planned by Mint Events.

Rippon Vineyard Wedding

Another great destination wedding at Rippon vineyard planned by Mint Events. Angie and Brendan had an amazing wedding with lots going on over the whole day. Angie spent the morning getting ready at the Lakehouse before heading out to the ceremony at Rippon. Phillipa Cook was the celebrant and did a great job as usual. We did the location shots around the vineyard before heading back in time for the their MC, Pro Surfer Luke Monro, to invite everyone to enjoy a traditional Maori performance before dinner.

I shot these model studio shots a while back but haven’t had the chance to put them up the blog. I love Gena’s Make up and she is always great to work with.
We had a basic set up and shot it all in in one morning, the models did a great job too.

Claire & Callum’s Queenstown Winter Wedding

Claire and Callum had never been to Queenstown before they arrived for their wedding. They had just seen images from here and thought it was a great place to get married and go snowboarding. The ceremony was held in the Queenstown Gardens and we did the location shots by the lake.

Sharon & Nick’s E-Session in Wanaka

It was great to meet Sharon and Nick, when they visited Wanaka a few weeks ago for their e-session. I thought I’d get the blog post up of the shoot in time for their wedding day, which is this Saturday. It’s always nice when you get to shoot engagement sessions with couples, you get to know each other a bit more and it helps them feel much more relaxed about having their photos taken at the wedding. The theme for the wedding is blossoms so we managed to find one small blossom tree to work with:) A fun day out and I cant wait for their wedding.
