Wearable Arts in Wellington
Posted: August 30th, 2011 | No Comments »I have spent the last few days in Wellington. It was great to be back in a city again where I always end up with new ideas and inspiration. We went to the opening night of The Wearable Arts and for the first time they had added a bridal section with some really quirky takes on grooms outfits. Everything about the show was amazing and very creative.
The World Press Exhibition was also displayed in Wellington. I have seen the exhibition previous years in other places of the world and it’s always an eye opener. I still think its sad that most awards are won with very graphic images of dead people from war zones and disasters rather that happy moments and scenes of survivors, but that’s just me.
Te Papa is always worth visiting and the Vogue in New Zealand Exhibition was interesting. Our little boy loved all the interactive discovery centers almost as much as the visit to the Zoo.
