Stunning Queenstown Wedding

Janelle and Dan had a perfectly planned wedding. I started the day shooting hair and makeup at Crew Haircutters, before heading over to the boys.

The ceremony was at  St Patrick’s Catholic Church in Arrowtown. After the ceremony and time for congratulations, we did some bridal party shots around the church and Lake Hayes before heading out to Over the Top for heli shots up on The Ledge. We had a great time up there enjoying the views and when we were finished we flew straight to the Winehouse and Kitchen for the reception.

The Wedding was planned by Mint Events and as usual the attention to detail and timings were perfect.

Kerryanne and Martin’s Queenstown Wedding

A small and intimate wedding in Queenstown for Kerryanne and Martin. We spent the morning at a B&B in Arrowtown/Lake Hayes before heading over to Stoneridge for the ceremony in the chapel. We did all location shots around Stoneridge before heading up to the reception. A beautiful day for a great couple:)

Rippon Vineyard Wedding

I first met Barbara and Richard in a cafe in London together with Laura from Mint Events.

The ceremony was at St Pauls church, Arrowtown, after which guests were transported to Rippon Vineyard, Wanaka. Barbara and Richard had an old school VW combi waiting outside the church to take us to Lake Hayes where Over the Top helicopters collected us for heli shots on route to Rippon Vineyard. The rain was hanging in the air and  we had to find a good spot below the clouds, away from the worst rain for the location shoot before heading over the ranges to Wanaka. We did some more shots around the vineyard with the bridal party. The bridesmaids wore bright yellow Lanvin designs which made them stand out in the rainy weather.

The reception started with a champagne tower and lots of excellent videos and speeches. Its been great to see the venue take shape and its such an asset for weddings in Wanaka. For me it was great to be the photographer for the first wedding in the new building!

A Stunning Millbrook Resort Wedding

KIrsty and Hamish had a great wedding day. The ceremony was at St Peters Church in Queenstown  and the reception at Millbrook resort in Arrowtown.

I spent the morning with Kirsty getting ready at one of the villas at Millbrook  and Hamish playing some golf at his parents house before heading in Queenstown for the ceremony. We did the location shots on the way back to Arrowtown and around Millbrook.

Summer Wedding in Queenstown

Joanne and Nick had a warm and sunny day for their wedding at Stoneridge estate in Queenstown. To maximise the time with the guests they opted to do the the location shots before the ceremony around Arrowtown.
