International Aperture Awards 2010

Yay! I’ve won another award for my wedding photography. The international Aperture Awards is one of the biggest photo competitions in the world with photographers from 91 countries entering this year.  I  entered one image which received a Bronze Award.  I am very proud to add this award to my previous 4 Iris Awards, won a couple of months ago. Competitions are a great way to endorse the quality of my photography and keep it at top level and they ensure I constantly evolve as the industry grows. I always try and make time to win awards for my couples and for my photography

Another NZ Weddings Magazine feature

It’s always great to see you images in magazines, it doesn’t matter that I have had countless images published it is still a buzz to flip through a magazine and see my images. This last feature makes me one of the most published wedding photographers on the South Island in the last couple of years.

The double page spread in New Zealand Wedding magazine is from Casey and Glen’s wedding here in Wanaka earlier this year and was one of my favourites. I also won an Iris Award for an image of Casey taken just before the rain hit us and we had to get back in the helicopter.

Iris Award Winning Wedding Images

Here are the other  two awards out of my 4 award winning  images from the weekends Iris Awards. A big thanks to Anna and Casey for having me as your photographer and being such beautiful brides. Anna’s wedding was in Queenstown and is also featured in the latest NZ wedding magazine. Casey’s wedding took place inWanaka.

The Iris awards is recognised as the leading photography competition for proffesional photographers and I am proud to be the only photographer in the area to be Award Winning for the last two years.

4 Awards at the prestigious IRIS awards

I am so excited about the 4 Awards I received at this years IRIS awards in Queenstown. The Iris awards are recognized as the leading awards for professional photographers in New Zealand. I had my first year of entering  last year with two wins and this year I got 4 awards and it’s such a great feeling for me to be recognized as a top photographer by other professionals. The images below are my awards in the portrait category and the travel category. I also won 2 awards for my Wedding photography and will get them online later in the week. 

Winner of Gold in the Kodak Gold Award 2009

I repeated last year’s success and won the highest award possible in the Kodak Gold Awards 2009. A great feeling after also winning two Iris Awards this year for my Photography.
