I love shooting weddings and I love hearing how happy my clients are with their photos. How amazed they are by the quality and moments that got caught and how much fun they had on the day.

To top it off I love that the leading Wedding magazine – NZ Weddings – feels the same way about my photography!

In the latest issue of New Zealand Weddings they have published three of my weddings from the past season. Anna & Andrew’s Queenstown Wedding, Liz & Brad’s romantic Wanaka Wedding and Sarah & Carl’s Dunedin Wedding. Check it out – on sale now!

A lovely Dunedin Wedding

Jill and Michael are an amazing couple who moved to NZ a month before their wedding after living for over 15 years in Dubai and Asia! They got married in a quaint church in Warrington and had the reception at their house.

We had a fun day shooting and did the location shots down on the beach and the surrounding areas. The train track was on the way and I love the way the lines work in the images.

I found the rock landscape on one side of the beach and Jill, a keen climber, was out on the rocks in her high heels before I even had the gear out of my car!  Being a busy weekend the beach had a few too many people on it for my liking so it paid to have my 4WD so we could access some quieter spots for the shoot.

Sarah & Carl’s beautiful Dunedin Wedding

Sarah and Carl came home from London to have their wedding in New Zealand. Aliana from Ali McD Modelling Agency  took a break from the Dunedin Fashion Week to do the hair and makeup. The Ceremony and reception was at Glenfalloch gardens on the peninsula and we did the location shots along the shore line in Broad Bay.

A big wedding in Dunedin’s first church.  It’s a special feeling to shoot in such a big church. Images came out great and Prue and Simon wanted beach shots so we went down to Tomahawk beach and it was perfect blue skies, no wind or people and the we just had a great time playing around and the photos came out amazingprue1
