Queenstown Autumn Wedding

Felicity and Trent booked me about 3 years ago so It was nice to finally meet them. The rain was pouring down all morning and we had a helicopters booked for locations shots before the ceremony…
It didn’t look like there was any chance of flying so we decided to go for our plan B  for the location shots but when Felicity was dressed and ready we got a call from the pilot and we were all go!!

We dashed to the airport and flew up to the top of Remarkables and got some really nice shots before heading back down for the ceremony and reception at Stoneridge Estate.

They had some nice looking Mazda’s as wedding cars and wanted some good shots of them so we headed down for a quick shoot at Lake Hayes with the sun setting behind the mountains. A great day with rain, sun and fun.

A wedding at Stoneridge Estate and The Winehouse

Naomi and Rob manage luxury beach accommodation in Australia but wanted something different for their own wedding. They used Mint Events wedding planning to make sure everything went smoothly on the day. We had a very rainy morning so when I left Wanaka so I I packed all my umbrellas!!  Ceremony was at 3pm in the Chapel at Stoneridge Estate and about 10 minutes earlier, the rain stopped and the sun came out just in time for location shots at Stoneridge. When we arrived at the Wine House for the reception it was a warm and nice evening for the guests to enjoy some croquette and mingling before dinner.

Queenstown Elopers Wedding

Louisa and Tim escaped and had a wonderful wedding in Queenstown. The ceremony was planned to be up in the mountains but after getting out of the helicopter they had to change the plans. We did some quick fun shots in the wind and rain before heading back to Stoneridge Estate and the sun to do the ceremony.

A Stoneridge and Skyline Wedding

Naomi and Charles are a great couple who recently moved to Queenstown. They had the ceremony outside at the beautiful Stoneridge Estate and the reception was held at the Skyline. We did location shots at Stoneridge and then a helicopter to the ledge and finished off with a photos at the top of the Skyline.

A beautiful Mt Soho Wedding

Hayleigh & Luke had a very beutiful wedding planned by Mint Events. The ceremony was outside at Stoneridge Estate and reception at the grand looking Mt Soho Winery in Arrowtown. We flew helicopter for the location shots and braved the cold wind for some very nice images.

Queenstown Wedding at Stoneridge Estate

Bronwyn and Trents are a lovely couple from Australia. They had both the ceremony and the reception at Stoneridge Estate in Queenstown.  A perfect place for weddings.  As a surprise for the bride an helicopter had been arranged for the location shoot. Over the Top helicopters flew us in through Skippers Canyon and we found a beautiful and sheltered spot to land. The photos came out great and its always such a pleasure to work with couples like Bronwyn and Trent.

Jeanette & Peters Stoneridge Wedding

The Weather was great and no snow… or rain came in on the day. We did all the location shots at Stoneridge and had a lovely small ceremony in the chapel.

It was literally  monsoon rain hitting Queenstown on their day! The Ceremony was at the Chapel at Stoneridge Estate and we got a short break just after with only light rain. We managed to squeeze in some really nice and moody photos before it started to pour down again. The reception was held at Gantley’s

Rebecca & Jamie’s Stoneridge Estate Wedding

A very lovely couple from Wellington, the day had rain and wind coming and going so we couldnt fly helicopter for the locations shots. We worked with the weather and managed to get a lot of  stunning photos done in a short space of time and by using the features around the Stoneridge Estate.

Fiona and Lee’s Wedding at Stoneridge

A small and very beautiful wedding , planned by Mint Events Wedding planning. Fiona and Lee is a Sydney couple that choose to get married in Queenstown. Fiona got ready at Millbrook and the Ceremony and reception was at Stoneridge Estate. We did most of the shots at Stoneridge Estate, its a great venue and there is no need to go off site to get great images
