Samara and Hamish had a hot sunny day for their wedding. The ceremony was held under the wing at Peregrine Winery in Gibston valley, Queenstown with Philippa Cook as the celebrant. The wing is a perfect place on a hot day and the light for photography can’t be better. We did the location shots around Peregrine and after that the reception was in the old woolshed which was all dressed up in lights – it looked great.

I shot the cover and feature of Nick Mills for Young Country Magazine about a month ago and it was great fun. We ended up shooting a lot of different stuff and Nick told me all about how the work is done at Rippon. Another fun thing is that Nick was a member of the NZ freestyle team at the same time as i was in the Swedish National team so we have trained and competed against each other in the World cup and Europa cup.

Seresin’s is owned by famous movie director Michael Seresin’s and on top of having the beautiful winery he also have a small timber cabin nestled amongst native bush overlooking Waterfall Bay in the Marlborough Sounds and every year he invites top chefs to cook for a selected few guest.
This year Jason Dell was invited to cook. Jason also did a presentation of his book and I was there to cover the whole thing. An amazing evening took place and it’s hard to find a better setting.

I flew up with Jason Dell to Seresins to shoot a book launch and a dinner and had a great time and this vineyard. It’s amazing to listen and see how they work and make the wines at Seresins. The building is great and I got some nice morning shots.
