Wedding Photography

I love weddings and there aren’t too many weeks when I’m not shooting one or planning for the next. I work hard to come up with new ideas and locations and I am always developing to make sure I maintain a professional and high standard, with a unique style. Over the last 3 years I have won over 25 awards for my photographs.

My personality is reflected in my photography, I am working with moments rather than set ups. I offer a sensitive approach to your emotionally charged and personal day, whilst at the same time an element of soft control where needed, to give you the best photos.

I take every opportunity to meet other photographers and learn new things. This last year I spent time with Jerry Ghionis, David Beckstedt and Heather Waraksa, 3 of the top 10 wedding photographers in the world!

I am a member of NZIPP and the only Accociate NZIPP qualified Wedding photographer in the area. I am also a full member of AIPA. By being part of AIPA and NZIPP you are assured that you are dealing with a professional photographer and by being qualified you know that my work is of a professional standard. All my work is carried out according to the organisations terms and conditions, which also will ensure that your rights as a client are protected. I also hold full public liability insurance to cover for all eventualities.

All weddings are shot by me and all enquiries are taken care of either by my wife Laura, who runs a separate wedding planning company, or our Studio Assistant.
